AN INTELLIGENT REALISATION

Holism, a destination day spa at within the 5-star MGallery by Sofitel Hotel Chadstone in Melbourne was inspired by a polished gem emerging from the rough. Studio Tate conceived the new space as an urban sanctuary, at home amongst its luxury fashion neighbours.

Colour, texture and form merge to create a layered canvas of muted, tonal hues enlivened with arched thresholds, rendered walls and soft, recessed lighting.

Each space has its own distinct identity – a reflection of their various functions and united by a sense of calm indulgence. The overall palette is gentle and softly spoken, the spaces humble in scale. It is a space imagined to reflect the transformative process of refinement; from rough texture through to polished facet, representing an intelligent realisation of the wellness experience.
